If it weren't for dooce, I would never have learned about this book.
And if it weren't for my awesome housemate, The Don, I would never have had a Chapters gift card burning a hole in my pocket.
Clearly, I was meant to own this book. And now, thanks to the magical power of the internet, sock critter euphoria is imminent! (In 3 to 9 business days.)
As you longtime readers may remember, I love the sock monkeys. But I think I have a special corner of my heart reserved for stupid sock creatures.
What's that? Will I post photos of my creations? Do you even have to ask?

Wow. I have a large quantity of lonely socks in the infant-to-six-year-old category, if you're interested. Or do they only use adult socks (which, in my house, are much more responsible about staying mated)?
I love the idea of using baby socks to make baby stupid sock creatures. Tiny! Adorable! Sock Creatures!
Awesome.
Midget sock creatures. Heh.
Heh, Jagosaurus, if there's one thing I can always be counted on doing, it's showing off my arts and crafts projects. I'm shockingly unembarrassed by my poor execution.
Ooh, baby and kid socks... I hadn't even thought of that. I may take you up on that offer, landismom, and you can be sure there'll be a critter or two in it for you... er, I mean, "for the Bee and the Potato."
Its taken me 33 years to discover 'Michaels' the arts-and- crafts-walmart but should I make a trip for googly eyes... maybe a sock puppet making afternoon this week???
Ohhhh....
