Famous Poems Rewritten as Limericks

I Wandered Lonely As a Cloud
There once was a poet named Will
Who tramped his way over a hill
And was speechless for hours
Over some stupid flowers
This was years before TV, but still.
This is just a smackerel of the doggerel to be found here. I'm working on my own right now. More on that later. My muse can't be rushed.

  2. What a great idea!

    Oh look! There's a bird in a gyre
    The centre cracks up, all's afire;
    Civility's goosed,
    Mere anarchy's loosed -
    We're wallowed in insesate mire.
