WEB: Shit. Now I have to re-read Anna Karenina.

This piece by Salon's James Hynes has lit a fire in me that only Tolstoy can quench.

Oh, yay! I'm so glad that piece had that effect on you. I appreciated what he was saying about being middle-aged when he read it, but I do think it's one of those novels that will grow with you. I read it for the first time when I was 20, and was terribly affected by it. I hope you like it as much.
