ETC: Help Me Settle a Question

Would it be considered child abuse to put this photo on our Christmas cards this year?

Oh, man. That is a *really* cute picture. I vote no on the child abuse.

To determine photographic child-abuse quotient: consider the degree of nudity, combined with the potential reaction of a date in later years. I believe in this case the correct answer to the latter is, 'Awwwww! You were the cutest baby ever!' And you're home free on the former category.

Therefore, card on, my friend.

He is so adorable! I say put it on the card - too cute!

If ever a baby photo deserved to be turned into a Christmas card, it's that baby photo.

The expression is excellent, as is the stain on his shirt. So adorable. Send it!

We debated on ours - should we go with the one where our 10-month-old is screaming or the one where her eyes are closed? Hmm... ;-)

The best cards are the ones that take you by surprise - plus the cuteness is inescapable!

That face must be shared! It will be remembered a lot longer than those bad baby-in-a-wrapped-box Picture People photos.

Wow... there are some pretty loose definitions of child abuse out there....

All you 'yea'-sayers are officially removed from our babysitter's list!!

Great photo, I'd say go for it. I much prefer the candid shots to ones that are stagey.

when you're looking at a picture of a baby and you can't stop yourself from smiling... that makes it a yes!

not every pictures has to be frilly and perfect... I like the ones that show personality much better!

What a cutie!
