What would Dumbledore say?Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has defended his decision to appear naked on the London stage.
The 17-year-old actor is making his West End debut and has a nude scene in Equus. He says the iconic play would be rubbish if he didn't bare all.
The key to serious acting, he says, is losing your inhibitions. He has been working hard at the gym ahead of first night.
(Ups to Doppelsis -- whom I may as well just get to guest blog for me this week -- for the link.)

Wow ... with posts like this, you're just begging for comments, aren't you? With nary a peep, though.
I must've missed the memo that you're totally last week.
Maybe you need to attract a different audience. Here's a link to start you out ... and something to quench your thirst for lists.
He's 17? What *is* the legal age in Britan?
That's a good question, Beth. I didn't even think of that issue. Golly.
Oh no, Cap'n! Have I jumped the shark? I did have a baby. Isn't that one of the telltale signs? Or was it when I came out with the Doppelganger action figures? The Doppelganger breakfast cereal? Or my sixth Saturday Night Live appearance?
So many regrets...
(P.S. That list is... scary. Not the books that are on it. The fact that it exists.)
Delurking in the UK:
The legal age of consent for sex (heterosexual and homosexual) is 16.
For voting and drinking we have to wait until 18. Don't know that there are any laws about baring all...
Does that mean I can stop feeling guilty about all the dirty thoughts?
I love how that list asks a bunch of conservative policymakers and analysts about what they regard and dangerous, and then pretend it's some universal value that feminism and secular humanism are in any way comparable with Naziism.
